What we do

New Tech Network works nationwide with schools, districts and communities to develop innovative public high schools. We provide services and support that enable schools to fundamentally rethink teaching and learning. Our goal is to enable students to gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life, college and the careers of tomorrow.

The New Tech model provides an instructional approach centered on project-based learning, a culture that empowers students and teachers, and integrated technology in the classroom. Our hands-on, multi-year approach gives schools structure and support to ensure long-term success.

Founded in Napa, California, in 1996, New Tech is made up of 86 public high schools in 16 states. New Tech is a subsidiary of KnowledgeWorks.

"If someone asks, I tell them that my school makes sense. The projects relate to the real world, so I never have to ask "why am I learning this?" It’s challenging but in a good way. The way we integrate technology and presentations gives us skills we will use forever. Our school really prepares us for what comes next."
